Pockets of disorder at the UEFA CUP finals
Somehow I expected not to have the 100.000 scottish supporters without any issues in Manchester. I was travelling to work yesterday morning at 7:45 (BST) with some already drunk (!) supporters on the bus. Whole Manchester turned blue by the supporter's T-shirts. I was even lucky, as I don't work in the centre, however Mrs. Smith, as she works at Piccadilly gardens told me about some fights, and huge crowd in the city.
On the way back home from work, the crowd even got better, I have seen a young guy, was sleeping on the pavement, withouth his t-shirt, in total delirium. Others were just running around drunk and shouting different things I will not describe here.

At the evening they have pretty much damaged the city centre (Piccadily Gardens) after a huge screen has broken down yesterday before the kick-off.
Anyway, let's give some work to do to the cleaners also :-)
