Where was I ... Oh yes, the church. A little bit down the road, there was the church, which was really beautiful. We have seen it from the distance, it was built, on a very logical way at the end of the street, therefore if you have turned your head around in this street, you couldn't miss it.
I always liked the style of the churches and temples in the UK, however I can not forget how beautiful was the church in the castle of Prague.
The green grass, which can not be found anywhere else in Europe gave a marvellous background colour for the rock built church.
We went into this garden and made some pictures also as it was really beautiful. The weather was quite cold, so we had to keep it short, and look around quickly.
Isn't this gorgeous? I don't know about your opinion guys, but being honest, I am much more interested in these things in the UK, than I was interested in Eastern-Europe. Probably because the houses, churches we have over there are quite the same, and there is not much difference between a hungarian or a czech church.
These stones above were not gravestone, but were laid down at the edge of the church. They were like pavement to walk on, it was a bit odd tho'. If someone knows what are their purpose, please let me know...
I have put my butt down for a second to capture the moment on this photograp below. The bench was quite wet from the rain before, so I didn't want to sit there for long, as with a huge "watermark" on my jeans I would have been looked like someone who .... himself.
I think I am not gonna have to give comment to this picture above at the right. Just as we have finished standing and forming a great YMCA, a couple english bloke were coming out a pub some yards from us, and they started singing : "YMCA, It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A"
I can not keep in secret, first we formed the word YMCA reversed by mistake :-)))) , which looked ACMY on the picture. If you ask nicely I maybe post it next time. And where the motivation came from? See below.
So, finishing having fun at the church we decided to go back to the pub which was hundreads of years old.
It was warm inside, and very nice enviroment, however they did not serve food at all, and we were starving. I bought a beer, and some Walkers Crisp, which basically disappeared in seconds, then we made some pictures in the pub.
It was uplifting to feel we are having drinks in a pub which was built in 1251 AD. The people in the pub looked friendly, the crowd was from all races/sexes/ages.
We haven't stayed there for long because everybody was hungry, therefore after my beer disappeared we popped into a place called some kind of chicken place, where we had some real junkfood. I can not help it, but I love junk food. I guess we have the reason why I am 94kgs, with a nice "TV- series" belly. Smiley
After our meal, we went to the train station but first we had to ask the people on the street where was that. I approached a gentleman was walking home. He seemed frightened, and first I thought he'll run away, but when he heard my perfect english sentence, he melted, and answered in a very nice manner. I am saying "perfect english", because the first sentence I learned in english at the high school was: "Could you tell me the way to the rail-ways station please?" - with absolutely correct pronounciation. He helped us out with the direction. Unfortunately after a while we still had to ask again (perfect english sentence again), and we found the station quite easily afterall.
At the station we were waiting for the train to come, when it started a terrible hail. It was hailstone knocking all over around, it was incredible. Apart from this we got back to Manchester Piccadilly quite easily, and after that catching our bus to home was the last event of the day.
And just for the end let me show you the entrance of probably the one and only barber shop in Bolton.
I guess if it depends on this shop I would have stayed as Kevin Sorbo for a long time. :-)
We decided with Mrs. Smith, that while we are here, should go and see all of the nice places around, castles, countryside, go to Scotland, Wales, etc.
I don't want to make the same mistake I did when we were living in London. I am sad to admit, that I have never been on the London Eye, however always wanted. . .
