Yesterday afternoon at 16:00 I was asked to carry out some out of hours work on the same day at 20:00. My  company believe this is the proper way to schedule something in advance, lol.

As I was luckily home and nothing was scheduled I decided to do it for them as it seemed to be a half an hour task. This later turned into a 2 and a half hour nightmare and finished around 22:30.

Everything was chaotic. Things turned out to be different, issues everywhere, starting from messing around with locked GSM phones and unreliable GSM adapter to more complex routing issues.

I truly regret it working yesterday. And I was not even oncall. 

Today I will have police training from 7pm, so I will not do any work until next week I believe. I began to realize I am dreaming with work as well, which is considering how unhappy I am with it seems to be pretty alarming sign...
