It has been ages now since I wrote :)
Too many things happened to give detailed description, so I will be brief as usual. Our life gets more and more busy and have no idea why that is.
In the last couple months:
- Finally bought a 50" plasma I have been waiting for years :)
- Bought a new car
- Went to Devon for the long weekend. (North Devon - Ilfracombe) Fantastic journey, with a shitty B&B, I might post about it.
- Went home for a week. Met all our good friends, spent some time with family. Drove 2600 miles, had my aircon cooler pierced by a branch of trees on the German motorway. (I was lucky I hit it only when I was doing 60Mph)
- On the way back in Dunkirk, I have booked a double room in a hotel from an automated receptionist (like an ATM, and when you finished it issues the keycard to enter to the hotel and your room) It was really cool :)
- Policing gets more and more busy as well, lots of trainings to attend, and quite difficult to schedule duties because of my oncall service at work. However I am getting more and more confidence and also I enjoy it more and more every time
- Got our new uniforms (black shirts), now we look like ninjas in high visibility tactical vests :)
Strange thing, but I really could not wait to get back to the UK. I believe this is my home now, and this is the place I am happy. I also missed the whole area, all the friends, shopping, flat, etc. :)
I have to find out how to manage my life better, because at the moment it is extremely busy and I have to schedule everything in a calendar, which never happened before.
Maybe this is the reason my internet presence faded away a bit.
