If you lived in the UK long enough, you must experienced the incompetence of people working here in many fields.
The excuse I heard most of the time, if something went wrong, was always the computer.
If I could not book an appointment with the NHS, of course the reason was: "The computer system is down". ALWAYS. If I wanted to get some more details about my BT bill, I was certain about one thing. The computer system will be down before they can provide me any infos. And this is not just about me. My brazilian colleagues told me a story about dealing with the authorities to get their newborn daughter passport. Well, of course the reason is the computer system.
I don't understand, assuming they are telling me the truth, how can these computer systems fail many many times?
Wether this is only an excuse for the incompetence of the people working there, or the computer systems are indeed going down, I can say this is all sh*t.
I have never heard anything more in this country when I tried to deal with many different issues that I had to call back, because of IT issues.
And proving I am not just complaining as I always do, see the video below.
