I hate installing. Unfortunately as Mrs. Smith will be going away, I have to re-install our notebook, then give it to her for the journey to Rotterdam. And of course I had to start the re-installation procedure with my PC. (100GB important info copy to External HDD, then from the ext. HDD to PC, took me ages)
Windows reinstall + all updates, service packs, drivers, etc. I can not tell how many computers I have installed in my whole life. (hundreds of them at least) And I hate the whole process. Because it is slow, nasty, and you always have to be there with the bloody machine, to hit enter-s or just type some stuff.
I already finished the desktop PC, now I am formatting the hard drive of the notebook, so still a long way to go.
My ex-flatmate called me regarding the EON issue, they still trying to find out who made a mistake, as there was no time-switch installed since the beginning, and EON was billing for both rates. I don't know how it will end, but I am sure, we'll end up paying.
The rental agency called this morning too (busy morning, eh?), that they wanna meet us at 11:30 on this saturday down in Ipswich, to give us the keys, so early wakening I foresee.
Mr. Brazilian guy became a father, so congratulation mate, soon we can drink a tequila for this nice event :)
Yesterday, we had a great night, with playing some card games, probably this was the last event with our friends here.
A friend of us is coming to the UK to work for a charity organization from January. She will be based at the Midlands, however I am sure we will meet up.
I will try to update the blog more often, however please be patent, as I have many things to deal with right now, hopefully it will be easier next week. :-)
Oh, yes, and for the Bishops: "Wakey, Wakey, ...." - it was NOT EASY to find the right porridge. But anyway, you are very welcome.
Prison Break is not until the 4th of November, so stop downloading :)
