Monday,
Monday morning we woke up early and packed everything in the car. We thanked for the nice accomodation to the owners, then went north-Oban, to see the funny named: Dunstaffnage castle. It was raining quite heavily, so after we made some photos decided to go home. We travelled on a different way back then we came on friday, and we had to step in every 20 km to see something nice.
We stopped at a place where we saw some nice water flow coming down the hill. A Volvo was parking in front of us, I parked our car, and got out with Mrs. Smith. We went to make some pictures. There were three people who came with the Volvo turned out to be hungarians from Warrington. :-). Quick introduction, then as the rain became worse, we got in the car and continued the journey home.
The area was amazingly wonderful, wish we had more time to stay and look around. We stopped the most time at Loch Lomond, and made many pictures on the way too. The weather became quite nice around the lake, with sunshine and warm, so it made really difficult to leave Scotland and go home.
However leaving Glasgow, the weather became bad again, and started to rain. The motorways were ok, but around Chorley, we got into a traffic jam, and we were there for about an hour until it cleared out. (The same when we were coming back from Lake District)
Got home at around 8:00pm, then found out, that the fuel consumption for our car, was 5,8L/100km, which can be considered great, as it included every traffic and road conditions with two person. I was quite happy about that.
The whole journey turned out to be the best we had. It was relaxing, wonderful, and romantic. Scotland will always be a place to visit again. Unfortunately we did not see any proper scottish bagpipe musician, or any whales in the sea, I guess this will be happen next time.
We have another trip planned, to visit Edinburgh, Stirling, and have a proper whale watching trip.
Now it is another friday, but I don't wanna go anywhere particular this time, just to do some shopping and relax at home. (Just bought a 20" widescreen LCD monitor, so movies are perfect on it)
Mr. Ellis if you read me: Season opening 2 hours Prison Break Episode will be shown in the US next Monday. Get ready. :-)
