Yes I am. Since I started the new job, I am busy as hell. I don't even have time to go on Facebook. Just briefly:

05:45 - wake-up

06:30 - walk to the railway station

08:15 - arrive to London

08:30 - walk to the office and start working

17:00 - Finish work

17:30 - Take train to home

18:50 - Arrive home

EVERY day. Still cannot and don't want to complain. Colleagues are nice, mentality is different, so I am having a good time so far. Lots of things to learn, so it is quite challenging, but it is great to work in an office again, even if I have to spend hours on the trains.

I still need to schedule my policing hours, so many of the days I finish up at around 22:00, (thanks RedBull) which is exhausting. Also, I carry on my Wing Chun (got punched in the face by my Instructor quite badly), but still loving it. 

Ask me the same in about a month :)

5 working days left and I am leaving my current job! Yay!!!! I cannot wait. In the meantime, workload decreased and work is being taken away from me every day.

I will need to sort out my train travelcard soon and by the £500 ticket/month which will be no joy for sure.

Sorry for not writing anything recently, I was more active on Facebook and I did not have the mood to post here.

However there is something I need to post. I have successfully resigned yesterday from my current job and also accepted another one based in London.

I will be commuting for a while now to see whether it is manageable (not to mention the £510/month - for train travelcard) so we will stay in Ipswich for a while for sure. I don't wanna tell much about the new position, it is also in Telecoms, they matched the same salary I got from the current one, but I will be £500 worse off because of the commuting. (This is what I can deal with) Conditions seem to be fine, I am waiting for the official offer letter and contract to be sent to me. 

Starting in a month time ...

Could not be happier!

My work situation is getting worse day by day, and although I am constantly looking for other opportunities unfortunately they are just not around.

What I realized that my experience might not be enough for the jobs are on the market, so I will need to start educating myself and learn something new. CCNA for starter. I believe voice engineering and Cisco and being more and more related, so in order to get a good job in Voice, I will need to get some experience and a Cisco qualification.

My only problem with this that I am amazingly lazy person, I wonder if this current situation would have a positive effect on my motivation or I will stay in this ridiculous employment for a long time.

The new thing they came up with at work, that now they want me in the office once a week. Unbelievable. What does it mean? A return trip in numbers:

 - 266 miles return trip by car - value depreciation - 6 hours of driving

or alternatively

 - take the train, travel 7 hours return, with 4 changes, and for what? 1 hour long meeting in the office and sitting around for another couple hours. 

I will have to sit down with my manager for this, but this is unacceptable request and I need to find a way saying NO to this ....

 I cannot switch myself back to "work" mode after a great two weeks of holiday ...

I will need some time to pick up my usual activities ....
