When you reach 30 you re-think your life. This is an inevitable procedure for most of us.
This is the time, when you realize if someone had asked you when you were 20 what you were thinking about "10-years-from-now", you weren't be able to tell the anything which applies to the reality.
I just had no frickin idea when I was 20. I was a loser, skinny fella with lots of pain in my heart, with high hopes, and dreams to accomplish, but never thought I will be able to make some "dreams" come true.
And what did I do so far?
- I was born in a very complicated family.
- Raised with strong principles
- Studied well at school
- Moved around a lot in Hungary
- Failed at the college. Both of them
- Had a lot of shitty job
- Had a long affair with a married woman
- Had some fun in my life, but to be honest, right up until I was 23, my life wasn't that I really wanted.
- Then I successfully escaped home, however my bad family background still tries to hunt me down.
- I escaped my own country, which right now I have no intention to go back to. I miss my friends who stayed there ...
- I was an aupair for 15 months
- Met Mrs. Smith
- Lived in London for a while - great time
- Worked in McDonald's
- Moved home for a little while and got myself something interesting work-wise
- Moved to Prague, met wonderful people there, who I still miss. Gained great experience
- Moved back to UK
- Got to know Manchester, met wonderful people there. Still miss them a lot.
- Traveled around in Wales, Scotland
- Right now I am settling down in the UK, which I enjoy very much. With a lovely woman on my side, and a cat around my leg. :)
- I am getting more and more wealthy. I had to mention it. I know Money is not everything, but it plays a big part in everyone's life. Without money, you have less opportunity in everything. We get well payed, we save up, we live just fine.
- I traveled. Seen the world from different angles.
- I saw both sides of the Atlantic
- Been in the US, visited NYC which was a dream for years
- I am constantly discovering the beauty of nature, the true beauty of this planet
- Getting better in my job, every day
- Volunteered for police. I will get my uniform in 3 days and will start my training. Another dream came true
And if you were asking me, where I am gonna be in ten years, I would say: Have no Frickin' idea.....
