From Tel-Aviv. Today I successfully finished my assignment, so I am all ready to go home. As I just got back from work, I quickly popped into the McDonald's which is right next to my hotel.
I have to tell you, this is probably the slowest service ever I received in MickyD. The staff is being formed by 3 person, however the customers would require more.
And on the top of the lack of the human force, the employees do not give a shit. So you would expect them to hurry up, but NO. They HAVE time. Incredible slow every single one of them. And they are very relaxed. Probably this is a general behavior here.
Anyway, after waiting more than 20 minutes for a Big Mac meal, I payed by card. (Surprisingly you can pay by credit card, and they also except American Express, weird, but this is Israel). After getting the receipt, which I could not even read, being written in Hebrew, they asked me to sign it. But because they did not find, or did not have a pen, the cashier girl handed over a PLASTIC SPOON to me, and asked me to carve my name on the receipt with the spoon! LOL
Fantastic experience, when I was trying to carve my signature on a piece of paper. First I believed I was being punked, but did not see any cameras :)
Anyway, I am over that, do not have to go there again :)
