I am done for a while now. Every weekend in the last almost 2 months had some activity.
Wheter friends came over, or we went to their place, we always had something to do. We have been travelling around Suffolk, and in London, then last week, Mrs. Smith's parents flew over for a week.
The most exhausting week ever. Tellin' ya. I was off, as I had to take the days remaining from 2008, so every day, we had at least 3 different things to do. Just a quick list, what we saw in 6 days.
- Ipswich
- Felixstowe (3 different beaches)
- Walton (seaside, pier)
- Bodiam Castle at the south coast
- Beachy Head Lighthouse at Eastbourne (south coast)
- Birling Gap, Seven Sisters (chalk cliffs, etc, south coast of England)
I drove 1800km, spent a lot of money, have not slept enough. So right now, I am exhausted, constantly tired, and can not wait for this weekend just to rest and lay around all day long.
But on the other hand, I have found out, there are several speed boat trips from Southwold, on inflatable boats, which includes a visit to a seal colony and a windfarm on the sea. Trip is 3 hours long, and coast £29 each. Not bad at all.
I should stop now
