Weekend to come.
Something has happened with UK's weather in the last couple days, especially in Manchester. We had 20-23 degrees straight away this week, with no rain at all. Imagine, after 3 months of almost constant rain, you wake up for the birds singing, and go outside, you smell flowers, you see no clouds, the sky is blue again, and the sun is shining.
I almost forgot how it feels like. I could finally loose my jacket and go to work wearing only a short sleeved shirt (of course PINK one, finally noone make jokes about it here). The work goes better when the weather is good, my mood is way much better than it was.
We expect similar weather over the weekend, and if we can manage we'll visit Llandudno (North-Wales), and will see the 4th lighthouse, at the Great-Orme.
I was happy to got back to the UK, but this weather makes me much happier. The funny thing that I am aware of the weather conditions in Eastern-Europe, but still as I am here, I am gonna have to appreciate what I can get here and not to complain (as old hungarian habbit) about the weather too much.
I have tried to book some days off in July, as we are planning to go back to Hungary for a visit, and also to transport our cat to the UK finally. Poor cat, had to wait 6 months to enter to the uk, or else quarantine. Still waiting for the confirmation, but I think I will get it, and we'll be able to go home after 5 and a half months staying away from the country by that time.
I gladly realized that the UK taxing system has changed since the last tax year, and now my salary went up with 30£. Not a big ammount, but it was good to realize when I got my payslip.
Anyway, not many hours to go, and I'll be off for a good, and hopefully sunny weekend.
