I cannot say I was a busy bee in the last two weeks or lets say in the last couple months. I did not have much time to update my blog and frankly I am not sure if I have any readers still with me :)

On last Friday I needed to drive up to our HQ to be a witness for my colleague's disciplinary meeting. Our company has decided to punish everyone for everything when they cannot present even a simple job description or responsibility list. Hard to be responsible for something when you should not be responsible for it officially. Ridiculous.

Anyway.

Last weekend was great we had badminton as usual and after that we had a great BBQ party at our friend's place which reached into next morning. Good food, good fun. On Sunday I helped to one of my friend to take a sofa to another friend's place as they just moved to a new place. It was raining but we had good fun transporting this sofa.

This week was a frickin' nightmare at work, because my colleague and my only teammate has gone for over two weeks of holiday. Which means I need to cover 16 days of oncall service including 3 weekends. And of course from day one there are mysterious outages I need to solve so I am pretty much fed up with my life right now.

As another weekend is coming up we planned some crab fishing for tomorrow and of course badminton, but I will need to see because crab fishing is weather permitting and also I need to be prepared for being called out from work. 

Then on Sunday we'll probably join to a couple of our friends and visit a carboot sale. Luckily we organized an hour of badminton session tonight as well, so this weekend will have plenty of activity for me ... and will help to reduce some of my belly :)

Because of the oncall service I could not go out policing which is weird because I start to feel addiction and I would love to go out on a duty. Unfortunately I will not be able to do it only in about two weeks. 

I cannot wait for our two weeks holiday which is coming up shortly (in 3 weeks time) whereby we will go to Hungary and meet all of our friends and probably will visit Lake Balaton for a couple of days. Hopefully the weather will be kind with us :)

My another achievement from last week that I succesfully passed Grade 2 in Wing Chun kung fu, so I am not officially a third grade student. The grading was good, I was a bit nervous dunno why and made some stupid mistakes however in overall my performance was good. 

I can hear sirens in the distance and wish I could be there right now ... Am I going mental? lol

I went out on duty last night again. From 18:30 till midnight. I have to tell you after working 8 hours in my daily job, it was rather exhausting to go out and do another 5 and a half hour work.

But still, enjoyed as usual. I have experienced again the variety of the police tasks compressed in a couple hours. Learned a lot, helped a lot, experienced a lot. I find myself addicted to blue-light runs, luckily I had it three times yesterday

Today I am gonna have a job interview, but don't say a word, I don't want to jinx it ... :) 

Finally is here! I have connected my phone to the PC on Monday and it offered me a new software upgrade!

After the upgrade my phone became incredible fast and well responsive. I LOVE IT. 

It was worth waiting for such a great firmware ... 

Yesterday I did couple hours of policing but apart from some really long blue light runs, nothing really happened. It was quite a boring shift (which I should be happy of)

This weekend suppose to be a long one with a bank holiday coming up on Monday, unfortunately I am gonna be on-call from Monday so this is only half victory.

Tonight we'll go for a short badminton game as a warm-up for tomorrow. I want to rest as much as I can this weekend as the last couple days/weeks were extremely busy for us. 

Not sure if I mentioned, but we bought a DSLR camera which I always wanted, so now on I started to take better pictures. It wasn't cheap but completely worthed it, we should have bought it earlier. 

I am still waiting for Gingerbread update for my Galaxy S and now it seems Mrs. Smith wants a smartphone for herself as well, so another Galaxy S will be incoming as I see :)

Also I have applied for some telecom jobs, but the market is still bad so not sure how quick I am gonna find a new job. In about 5 weeks we'll go to Hungary for a visit, but before I will need to have a long, 4 weeks on-call marathon covering for my colleague who will go on holiday first. ... disappointing

I know I have not written anything for a while now, but as always I was extremely busy recently. We have finished a major migration of equipments at work, also was doing more policing. (Finally I had my first arrest - and no, I did not get arrested myself :))

Also I had the chance to use my Russian knowledge during one of my police shift talking to a Lithuanian person. It was interesting. Unbelievable how many worlds comes back from the old times.

Life is always the same, after a long break around bank holidays we began to play badminton again. I also got in touch with my aupair family from the past, hopefully we'll go and meet them this weekend.

Tomorrow I will need to drive up to our HQ again and spend the day there, not sure what time I'll get home for Friday night :(
